RULES

GENERAL RULES

  1. Legendary Mamas offers Open 4-D payouts as a sidepot to a variety of established events occurring regionally throughout the United States and Canada.  Wherever a TL Payout happens a TLM sidepot will be offered.  This is not a sidepot to TL as many horses enrolled in TLM may not be eligible for TL - it is a seperate offering with separate rules.

    1. Eligibility requirements:  Dam of enrolled horse must be sired by a TL Stallion.  The sire of the enrolled horse can be any stallion (does not need to be enrolled in TL).   The dam does not need to be enrolled in TL, however she must be by a TL Stallion.

  2. Foals have a one-time enrollment fee, that is due December 1st of their yearling year.

  3. Requirements for participation in the Incentive and eligibility for TLM Payouts:

    1. Enrolled horse's dam sire must be enrolled in the Tomorrow’s Legends Stallion Incentive for foal to be eligible for enrollment. Once enrolled, foal is eligible for life, whether or not the stallion maintains enrollment.

    2. Foal enrollment fee must be paid in full, copy of foal’s papers on file with TLM office.

    3. TLM Payouts will be offered with a set amount of advertised added money plus 80% of the entry fees.  There will be a $100 entry fee for each TLM sidepot.  $5,000 - $10,000 added for each race in 2025, estimating payouts of $13,000 - $26,000 with entries of 100 -200.

    4. For TLM Event Entry –

      1. Make sure the foal is entered with producer using his/her registered name.

      2. Submit TLM Electronic Event Entry Form via TLM website.

        • We ask that your form please be submitted at least one week prior to the event.  We will accept entries up until the class begins.  Please note submitting your entry one week ahead of time will streamline the process, ensuring your horse is announced properly as a TLM horse.  If you enter at the last minute your horse will not be announced as TLM, furthermore if your paperwork is not in order and we have an issue and are unable to clarify before the event, you run the risk of being ineligible for the payout.  It is in your best interest to submit entries at least one week prior to the event.

          • If we have the TLM booth at an event we will accept entries accompanied by new enrollments provided it is before that horse runs in the class. If we are not at an event, we will not extend this grace as it can be too difficult to know for sure what draw they are on.  For those races, horses must be enrolled and entered before the class begins as defined as before the first horse runs in the class.

      3. Owner, Breeder, Stallion Owner must have current W9 on file with TLM office before respective checks will be mailed.  Provided we have correct contact information, we will reach out to request this information from you as needed.

      4. International entries must have a W-8 BEN on file with TLM office before payments will be released.  Again, provided the office has correct contact information, TLM will attempt to request this from you as needed.

PAYOUT

  1. TLM Payout will be distributed at established events where Tomorrow's Legends offers a side-pot.

    • Event location and TLM Payout amount is based on enrollment participation and location. (United States enrollment monies will be used for U.S. Event TLM Payouts, Canadian enrollment monies will be used for Canadian Event TLM Payouts.

  2. TLM Payout will be distributed as follows:

    • 60% to Owner of the enrolled foal

    • 30% to  Nominator of the foal (must be owner at time of enrollment or actual breeder as listed on the papers.)

    • 10% to Dam's Sire (TL Stallion Owner) - stallion nominator as listed on enrollment forms at time of enrollment. TLM is a free benefit to TL Stallion owners, therefore if the stallion is no longer enrolled in TL, the 10% will be retained by TLM and used to increase the next years offered added money.

  3. TLM Payout Winners will be posted on the TLM website, once official results are provided to the TLM office by the show producer. For the year 2025 checks will be mailed to owners, nominators, and stallion owners within 2 weeks of the event date.

  4. It is the responsibility of the Payout winner to provide Legendary Mamas, with current address and tax information before any TLM Payouts are issued.  This information may be mailed or ideally provided through our secure link.  We can not accept tax information via email, messenger, nor text.
